mw3 to be patched more often the mw2 ever did

Robert Bowling, who is Infinity Ward's Community Strategist, has insisted that Modern Warfare 3 will not suffer from the same treatment that plagued Modern Warfare 2.

"That is a major focus of mine and the entire team since the feedback from Modern Warfare 2," Bowling wrote, after a Tweet from a follower asked for a simple request - "Just please; provide exceptional post-launch support this time with constant patches".

Modern Warfare 2 found itself in deep waters before its official release, and throughout the majority of 2010. Javelin glitch. Trophies on the PS3, as well as a "server overload" around the games release date, which plagued online gameplay. The highly publicised PS3 exploit, which allowed modders and hackers to target legitimate players and ruin their stats and receive obscene messages through the game. And only in February, Infinity Ward released a title update to combat the PS3 exploit, amongst other things.

It looks like Infinity Ward do not want a repeat of what happened to Modern Warfare 2. While it can be argued that anything is exploitable, Robert Bowling and his team will be right there to make sure these exploits are eliminated is quick as they are found
